Number Twelve Marketing is a marketing and PR agency based in Los Angeles. We specialize in creating and executing bad-ass campaigns on behalf of our clients. We embrace creativity and get excited about problem-solving. Bringing campaigns to life through the lens of pop culture isn’t only our job – we have a blast doing it. In 2018, we launched this practice with the aim of putting humility and authenticity at the forefront of what we do.
What’s with the name? “Number Twelve” is a term used to describe someone you can be your most authentic self with; who inspires and brings out the best in you. Not only does this describe our friendship, but it also reflects how we tackle our work – with passion, honesty, and a good sense of humor.
We believe that life is too short not to do what you love, and be proud of it, too.
Maggie & Pilaar
Partners & Co-Founders
Prior to founding Number Twelve, Maggie and Pilaar spent a collective 30 years at global firms, including Edelman, PMK*BNC, and most recently as Vice Presidents at United Entertainment Group. They've worked with hundreds of global brands, negotiated hundreds of partnerships, and secured millions of impressions. But most importantly – they’re just really good friends and they make each other laugh.
Head of Talent & Influencer Marketing
Maggie is a marketing strategist, with expertise in talent and influencer engagement on behalf of brand clients. She’s built overarching talent strategies for Fortune 500 companies, on both national and global scales. Her background includes PR, sponsorship, content, and events. Maggie is from Tucson, AZ. Her loves include her basset hound Shelby, Jeopardy, Hall and Oates, and a big glass of Napa Valley cabernet.
Pilaar is a seasoned veteran in communications, brand strategy and partnerships. Her background also includes integrations, content production, CRM, direct response and experiential. Pilaar is from the San Francisco Bay Area. She enjoys binge-watching Nashville and Atlanta in equal measure. She still says "hella” (*unfortunately) and her weakness is nachos.
Head of Media and Communications
Nancy is a master media maven with experience in Hispanic, Consumer/Entertainment, and Lifestyle PR. Her background includes strategy, events, content creation, and media engagement for brands including Comcast, MGM, Universal Pictures, Horoscope.com, Astrology.com, Hola Mexico Film Festival and Paramount Pictures. Nancy is from Long Beach, CA. She loves hiking and going to the beach on the weekends. She especially loves TLC's "90 Day Fiancé". She’s planning her next vacation as you read this.
